We had some fantastic opportunities to connect with mentors this week and engage in workshops to help broaden our connections, and sharpen our strategic approach.

Highlights

We had some fantastic opportunities to connect with mentors this week and engage in workshops to help broaden our connections, and sharpen our strategic approach. Thank you, Henry Freeman, Mark Steenbarger, Braxton Martorano, Lindsay C. Maliqi, Natasha Jensen-Matta, Rachel Notter, Curt Wible, Melissa Stout, and Tim Harvey, for your invaluable insights, guidance, and support this week – your expertise is instrumental in helping WyldMagic Workshop grow and thrive!

We’re looking forward to the opportunity to meet with these experienced mentors next week and gain insights from their unique perspectives:

Jason Ward: With extensive experience spanning government, academia, and multiple industries, Jason brings invaluable knowledge about building small businesses based on authentic interests. His insights on flexibility, creativity, and decisiveness will be crucial as WyldMagic Workshop continues to shape meaningful game experiences and lean toward projects that foster personal and social impact.

Alicia McKoy: As the Founder and CEO of Peak Mind, Alicia’s expertise in well-being technology will help us deepen our approach to creating emotionally supportive games. Her experience in developing tools for managing chronic stress can provide practical ideas for integrating mental wellness components into our games, enhancing our commitment to fostering a positive impact on players’ lives.

Matthew Joseph: At just 22, Matthew has shown impressive passion for people-driven, positive change through business. His belief in business as a force for good aligns perfectly with our mission to make meaningful, community-centered gaming experiences, and his action-oriented approach will be invaluable as we navigate the early growth stages of WyldMagic Workshop.

Zaineb Al-Kalby: With her focus on early-stage EdTech startups dedicated to social impact, Zaineb offers a unique perspective on bridging educational gaps, especially in K-12. Her insights and network within EdTech will be beneficial as we explore ways to design games that not only entertain but also educate and support young learners in underserved communities.

Each mentor’s expertise will guide us in expanding WyldMagic Workshop’s potential to create impactful, inclusive, and well-rounded experiences.

Business Development

WyldMagic Workshop is focusing its mission to create immersive and engaging digital and physical games that support mental health and emotional well-being for children, educators, guidance counselors, therapists, and families. Our new focus centers on developing games that blend fun, exploration, and education, designed to tackle real-world emotional and social challenges experienced in schools.

Through both video games and board games, we aim to address issues such as anxiety, peer pressure, bullying, emotional regulation, and trauma recovery. These games will serve as supplemental tools for teachers and counselors, providing interactive experiences that foster empathy, resilience, and healthy communication. By pairing digital gameplay with physical interactions, we hope to create barrier-breaking projects that build community, promote inclusivity, and support mental health in school environments and at home.

We’re grateful for the growing community around WyldMagic Workshop, and there are so many ways you can help us on our journey! Here’s how you can support us:

Chat with Us: We love hearing from you! Share your thoughts, ideas, or feedback – your insights help shape our games and keep us focused on what matters most to our players. Reach out anytime; we’re always here to chat!

Spread the Word: If you enjoy what we’re creating, help us reach more like-minded gamers by sharing WyldMagic Workshop with friends, family, or your social networks. Every share counts and makes a difference!

Thank you for supporting WyldMagic Workshop; together, we’re building something truly special!

Sincerely,
Joshua Allen
